12 class sessions, 1 hour per class
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. PST (12 hours)
Course Description:
In this class, students will learn foundational programming and computer science concepts, while engaging in open-ended processes that allow students to express their inner creativity and drive through programming. Each day students will be presented with a goal focused on creative expression, and expressing themselves digitally. Students do not need any prior programming experience. However, students who do have prior experience will be equally engaged - as creative expression will take focus, rather than simply focusing on raw programming skills. Students who develop a passion for programming and engage more deeply will be rewarded with more unique and more interactive work products - as well as a higher degree of skill building and creative expression. All students are welcome!
